Global Telecommunications player with multiple operations across Africa

Our client is a leader in the telecommunications industry, delivering innovative products & consumer services that enhance the lives of their customers. They are dedicated to providing high-quality, cutting-edge telecommunications solutions, with a focus on providing the bundled sales services in the Benin market. Due to the evolving consumer market demands, they are now seeking a Manager to lead their Home Data & Devices division.

This role will be based in Cotonou, Bénin

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Consumer Products & Segments, you will carry out the below responsibilities :

  • Responsible for developing consumer products and services for their Mobile Data & Home Data Segments
  • You will deal directly with international & local telecommunication carriers to identify the best bundle deals and services
  • Develop strategies to ensure home connectivity, smart device penetration for the prepaid consumer market
  • You are responsible for overseeing the forecasted profitability for each segment in the short, medium & long term performance
  • Responsible for developing value propositions for each segment, while managing the annual OPEX budgets for the respective projects
  • Collaboratively working with the Finance, Procurement, Marketing & Legal teams to receive approvals before product launches

You bring 5 years of working experience as a Manager of Home Data & devices within the telecommunication sector covering the Benin market
Proven track record in selling Mobile Data & Home data devices in the Benin market is required
Previous experience working directly with telecommunication vendors is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Excellent fluency in both French & English is required
Must be willing to relocate to Benin
You possess strong leadership skills and can effectively create solutions for the consumer market
