I am an experienced public health professional with a diverse background in medical care and public health within the development sector. I have an MSc in Public Health from Jimma University and a BSc in Clinical Nursing. With over 20 years of progressive work experience in Health, Nutrition WASH thematic areas. I have expertise in collaborating with government entities, international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), international organizations, and UN agencies in Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and Mozambique. My focus areas include sexual and reproductive health/family planning (SRH/FP), TB/HIV collaborative interventions, chronic care of HIV/AIDS control, emergency health and nutrition programs, health system strengthening, adolescent youth sexual reproductive health/rights, and migration humanitarian emergency and development contexts. I have previously worked with Samaritan’s Purse, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Plan International. Currently, I am seeking challenging high-level programming and leadership opportunities and am motivated to make a meaningful contribution to the field of public health.
