Law Dissertation Help

Conventional view of law dissertation support is often based on formal organizations like libraries and supervisor’s office. This dissertation challenges this approach by taking an informal approach to law dissertation support through community-based models of support. The focus of this research is on the creation and maintenance of informal support networks among law students such as study circles, Whats App groups, and peer mentoring as a form of law dissertation help. The study will use ethnographic methods to observe and document peer-based law dissertation support through student-led dissertation support groups. The study will investigate the value that law students find in participating in a peer-based community, such as the ability to ask “stupid questions,” vent frustrations, and provide encouragement to their fellow community members who are also experiencing challenges pursuing a law degree. Peer communities, unlike formal forms of law dissertation support, provide for immediacy, relatable experiences, and emotional support.
